Actually was pretty good movie. The young man has seen where he's at in this moment of in his life. He sees where it has gotten him. He's bout to lose his woman, his son, his Mom & his damn freedom. He has a moment of vision to see the starting point of using his head, he's going

Going back to school, he's stepping up to be a good partner, father & a part of civilized society. Then comes the old man. He wasted his life & then runs away like a coward who cannot stand tall & take whatever punches he has coming in his direction.

But the young man does not react like the old man thought that he would act. Well the young man showed compassion towards the old man. He's maturing into becoming a good young man.
